Business Development & Engagement Specialist
About the Role:
We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our team as Business Development & Engagement Specialists. This role is a unique blend of business development, marketing, social media engagement, and customer support, focusing on building partnerships, driving awareness, and ensuring user adoption across universities and corporate organizations.
As part of our expansion team, you will play a critical role in introducing our innovative ride-sharing platform to key stakeholders, creating strategic partnerships, organizing promotional events, executing social media marketing campaigns, and ensuring a seamless user onboarding experience. Post-launch, you will also be responsible for providing customer support and ensuring long-term engagement with partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- ✅ Build relationships with universities, student bodies, and corporate organizations to introduce our platform.
- ✅ Identify and engage with key decision-makers (university management, HR departments, transport committees, and student unions).
- ✅ Secure early sign-ups and onboard student ambassadors across universities.
- ✅ Develop strategic partnerships to enhance brand reach and market penetration.
Event Planning & Brand Awareness:
- ✅ Organize on-campus and corporate events to increase brand visibility and educate potential users.
- ✅ Identify existing university/corporate events where we can integrate our marketing efforts.
- ✅ Oversee the distribution of promotional materials such as keychains, stickers, and branded merchandise.
Social Media Marketing & Digital Engagement:
- ✅ Plan and execute targeted social media campaigns to promote brand awareness and engagement.
- ✅ Collaborate with the marketing team to create digital content, including posts, stories, and video snippets.
- ✅ Monitor social media trends, audience engagement, and campaign performance to optimize results.
- ✅ Engage with users online by responding to comments, messages, and feedback.
User Engagement & Customer Support
- ✅ Provide support to new users via chat, phone, and email.
- ✅ Gather early feedback from users and partner organizations and relay it to the product team for continuous improvements.
- ✅ Conduct training sessions and product demos for organizations using our platform.
Ongoing Expansion & Growth
- ✅ Stay in constant communication with partner organizations to ensure continued engagement.
- ✅ Identify new universities and companies to expand into after the initial launch phase.
- ✅ Work with the product team to customize and improve the enterprise management dashboard based on organization requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- 🎓 Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 📌 Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, social media marketing, community engagement, or customer support.
- Prior experience in university outreach, corporate partnerships, or brand activations is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing, content creation, and audience engagement.
- Familiarity with customer support tools (CRM, chat support systems) is preferred.
- 📢 Certifications & Courses (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
- Certifications in Digital & Social Media Marketing (e.g., Google Digital Garage, Facebook Blueprint, HubSpot, or Coursera).
- Practical experience in running social media ad campaigns and influencer collaborations is a plus.
