Contract Administrator – Estimation & Tendering
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to oversee and manage contract-related tasks, ensuring compliance with tendering requirements and construction standards in Australia. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams while maintaining essential documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and submit tenders for commercial and government projects.
- Ensure compliance with Melbourne Council material tender requirements and Australian construction standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to obtain cost estimates and supplier quotes.
- Maintain and update documentation, including BOQs, tender revisions, and compliance reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in contract administration for commercial construction projects.
- Experience with government tendering procedures in Australia is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost databases (e.g., Rawlinsons, Melbourne council-approved materials).
- High attention to detail with expertise in compliance and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder coordination.
