Primary Purpose of Position:
The IT Administrator is responsible for the management of Innovit’s internal infrastructure and customer SAAS Systems.
Key Position Objectives and Responsibilities
Duties:
- You will be responsible to ensure that Innovit’s IT systems are operational and well managed
- The role also entails providing IT support services to internal and external users
- Support and manage customer SAAS environments and provide level 1 to 3 support
- Support and manage innovits and innovits customers B2B messaging (AS2) messaging systems
- You will be expected to travel to visit customer sites from time to time in support of customer installation projects
- Responsible for the reporting and control of customer SAAS system costs
Key responsibilities will include:
- Day to Day System Administration
- Supporting innovits customers and staff in multiple time zones (USA, Germany and Australia)
- IT infrastructure operations (network, servers, security) for Innovit’s office environment, development environments and hosted customer environments.
- Ensure backup / restore systems are working
- Manage relevant third party services such as hosting and ISP services and ensure that customer service levels (SLA’s) are being monitored and met
- Maintaining appropriate documentation and reporting
- Tracking of licenses and ensuring Innovit remains compliant with licensing requirements
- Projects internal and customer
- Work with innovits professional services team to providing consulting / project services to customers
- Work with innovits professional services team to providing system design and quoting for customer SAAS solutions
- IT infrastructure upgrades – including design, obtain quotes, ordering, technical work and updating operational procedures
- Automation of repetitive tasks (to reduce workload and improve quality) such as building test and demonstration environments and system performance monitoring
- Implementing, testing and updating relevant aspects of Innovit’s Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and IT Security plans
- Preparation of IT strategy and financial budget & Monthly invoice and management reporting
- Ensure direct reports (contractors) are trained and up to date with sufficient knowledge to support innovits operations in absence.
Technical Support
- Internal users – windows PCs, office application support, VPN access
- External customers – Innovit products, server, database and network support
Technical Knowledge:
Essential
- Extensive Experience in AWS (EC2, VPC, Route 53, EBS and Load Balancing)
- Extensive Office 365 experience (including Email, Skype, and Office product suite)
- Extensive administration / solution design experience Citrix XenApp 6.5/7.X
- Experience supporting customer SAAS systems within AWS using Citrix Xenapp
- Experience supporting Dell Laptop / Desktop systems.
- Switching experience specific to Dell Switches / VLANs and port configuration
- Experience with UTM / Firewall Systems such as Sonic Wall
- Experience with Trend Micro Worry Free
- Avaya IP Systems
- Backup Exec
- Dell SAN.
- Basic SQL server administration skills MSSQL
- Understanding and lift and shift capability for PowerShell
- Extensive experience administering Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Extensive Experience with Windows 10, Windows server 2008 to 2012
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Observium and Windows Server Manager
- Extensive experience in patch management techniques and tools such as WSUS & Ninite
- Experience with AS2 protocol
