Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and usability of our mobile applications through meticulous manual testing. This role requires expertise in mobile app testing methodologies, test case creation, and issue documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be passionate about delivering a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing for mobile applications (Android & iOS) to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet high-quality standards.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, and smoke testing to ensure app stability.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues early in the development cycle and suggest improvements.
• Test across various devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions to ensure app compatibility.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation.
• Validate API responses using tools like Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and QA standards to maintain a smooth user experience.
• Document test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports.
• Record images and videos of screen activities to support issue reporting and documentation.

Qualificcations:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of testing experience in mobile application testing (Android & iOS).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, GitHub, or Trello.
• Familiarity with mobile debugging tools (e.g., Android Studio, Xcode).
• Knowledge of Flutter testing frameworks is a plus.
• Experience testing apps in various network conditions (e.g., low bandwidth, airplane mode).
• Basic understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger).
• Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports.
• Must have strong English verbal and writing skills.
• Should be detail-oriented and able to write step-by-step reproduction instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualificcations:

• Experience in performance testing and security testing of mobile apps.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience testing mobile applications with payment integrations.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced development environment.
• Experience testing Google Maps features and integrations in mobile applications.
