- Mandatory: Master’s degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, Pharm-D or related field; 10+ years in healthcare sales with at least 2 years in a managerial role; strong background in medical equipment sales (Neuro, Spine; orthopedic experience would be a plus); willingness to travel (up to 25-50%); proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Reasoning for mandatory vs preferred: The Master’s degree and extensive sales/management experience ensure the strategic and leadership capabilities required for a national role; domain experience with neuro/spine equipment ensures product relevance and credibility with customers; travel readiness supports field coverage; MS Office proficiency is essential for reporting, forecasting, and presentations. Preferred items (e.g., orthopedic background, established hospital relationships) provide added depth but are not strictly required.
