Role Mission

The Junior Full Stack Engineer with a back-end heavy Node.js focus will strengthen our backend capabilities while enabling efficient end-to-end delivery, bridging backend services with frontend integration, and growing into a stronger contributor within our team in Abu Dhabi.

Technical Ecosystem

• Node.js as the runtime for backend services
• REST APIs for service interfaces
• JavaScript fundamentals; HTML and CSS for frontend integration when required
• Database fundamentals (SQL and NoSQL concepts)
• Docker for containerization and deployment
• CI/CD awareness and basic pipelines
• Security awareness and secure coding basics

Performance Expectations

• Within the first 3-6 months: onboard to the codebase, contribute to backend services, implement or modify REST endpoints, and participate in code reviews and testing
• By 6-12 months: own small backend features end-to-end, collaborate with QA and frontend teams, and improve reliability and performance of backend services

Requirement Rationale

• Node.js and REST APIs are mandatory given the back-end heavy focus of the role; 3-5 years of experience signifies an early-career engineer with hands-on exposure. Docker exposure, CI/CD awareness, infrastructure familiarity, and cybersecurity basics are preferred to align with modern deployment practices and secure design.
